By accessing or using Edwumafie, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy . If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.
If you use Edwumafie on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your account details up to date.
- You must be legally eligible to enter into an agreement under applicable law.
- You must provide a valid email address and telephone number when required.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and account credentials secure.
- You must not impersonate another person or create an account using misleading information.
- You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Edwumafie may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, protect users, enforce these terms or comply with law.
3. Service Seekers and Service Providers
3.1 Service seekers
Service seekers use Edwumafie to discover services and identify providers. You are responsible for evaluating a provider's suitability before agreeing to receive a service.
3.2 Service providers
Service providers may create profiles and publish listings describing the services they offer, subject to the platform's features and applicable fees.
Service providers must:
- Provide truthful descriptions of their services, skills and experience.
- Publish only photographs and other content they are authorised to use.
- Keep service information and contact details reasonably accurate.
- Obtain any licences, permits or qualifications required for their work.
- Communicate honestly about prices, availability and service conditions.
- Deliver services in accordance with their agreements with customers and applicable law.
4. Role of Edwumafie
Edwumafie provides a platform for discovering and presenting local services. Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate agreement, Edwumafie is not the employer, agent or direct provider of services offered by independent providers.
A listing on Edwumafie is not a guarantee that a provider is qualified, available, trustworthy or suitable for a particular job. Any verification indicators shown on the platform apply only to the checks actually completed and should not be treated as a guarantee of future conduct or work quality.
Users are responsible for agreeing on the scope of work, payment, timing, materials, safety requirements and other relevant conditions directly with the other party.
5. Registration Fees and Paid Features
Some account registrations and platform features may require payment. The applicable amount, payment conditions and available features will be displayed during the relevant registration or payment process.
If a premium subscription or renewal applies to your account, the terms presented when you purchase or activate that subscription will govern its price, duration and renewal requirements.
Where premium access expires or a renewal payment fails, access to paid features may be restricted according to the subscription terms displayed to you. Account access and premium-feature access may be treated separately.
Do not assume a payment has succeeded until the platform or payment provider confirms it. Keep your transaction reference for enquiries about a payment.
6. Payments, Refunds and Disputes
Payments made through Edwumafie may be processed by an authorised third-party payment provider. You must provide accurate payment information and follow the payment provider's applicable terms.
Any refund, cancellation or fee-adjustment entitlement will depend on the terms presented for the relevant payment, the circumstances of the transaction and applicable law.
If a registration or subscription payment appears unsuccessful or is charged incorrectly, contact Edwumafie with your transaction reference and a description of the issue.
Unless explicitly stated in the applicable payment terms, Edwumafie does not guarantee, process or supervise payments that users arrange directly between themselves for services.
7. Service Listings and Content
You remain responsible for content you upload, publish or send through Edwumafie.
You must not publish content that:
- Is fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory or unlawfully harmful.
- Infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
- Promotes illegal services or unlawful discrimination.
- Contains malicious software, harmful links or attempts to compromise accounts.
- Misrepresents prices, qualifications, availability or the nature of a service.
- Contains another person's personal information without an appropriate basis or permission.
- Is unrelated spam or is otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
You grant Edwumafie permission to host, store, display and technically reproduce your submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and maintain the platform, subject to applicable law and your rights.
You retain ownership of your content. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload it.
Edwumafie may remove or restrict content that reasonably appears to violate these terms, infringe rights, create a safety risk or breach applicable law.
8. Communication Between Users
Users must communicate respectfully and honestly. Do not use contact information obtained through Edwumafie for harassment, threats, spam, fraud or other unlawful purposes.
Before sharing personal or financial information with another user, consider whether it is necessary and whether the recipient is trustworthy.
Report suspected scams, impersonation, abusive behaviour or unsafe listings using the contact details provided at the end of these terms.
9. Prohibited Activities
You must not:
- Attempt to access another user's account without permission.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the platform.
- Use automated tools to collect data without authorisation.
- Submit false reviews, identities, qualifications or service information.
- Use Edwumafie to facilitate fraud or unlawful activity.
- Circumvent legitimate payment requirements or subscription restrictions.
- Overload, damage or attempt to disrupt the website or its infrastructure.
- Use the platform in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
10. Verification and Trust
Edwumafie may introduce verification processes for telephone numbers, identities, businesses or other provider details.
Verification indicators describe the status of checks recorded by the platform. They do not constitute a guarantee, certification of all professional skills, or assurance that a provider will perform a particular service satisfactorily.
Users should make their own reasonable checks before hiring a provider or accepting a job.
11. Account Restrictions and Termination
Edwumafie may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of a breach of these terms, suspected fraudulent activity, safety concerns, legal requirements or misuse of the platform.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
You may stop using Edwumafie at any time. Requests to close an account or delete personal information are subject to applicable legal obligations and our Privacy Policy.
12. Website Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Edwumafie available and functioning, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, technical failures, security incidents or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may temporarily affect the service.

13. Responsibility and Liability

14. Responsibility for Your Conduct
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for losses, claims or costs arising from your unlawful use of Edwumafie, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.
This section does not apply where responsibility cannot lawfully be placed on you or where the loss was caused by conduct for which you are not legally responsible.

16. Applicable Law and Disputes
